It holds the distinction of being the <strong>oldest Civil Engineering department among private engineering colleges affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT)<\/strong>, formerly known as <strong>West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udcda Academic Excellence &amp; Approvals<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>undergraduate Civil Engineering degree program<\/strong> has been running successfully <strong>since 2003<\/strong>, producing skilled engineers who contribute to infrastructure and societal development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The department is <strong>approved by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal<\/strong>, and the <strong>All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Postgraduate Program:<\/strong> Since <strong>2011<\/strong>, the department has been offering an <strong>M.Tech program in Geotechnical Engineering<\/strong>, enhancing research and specialization opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83c\udf93 Legacy &amp; National Recognition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The department was previously a <strong>study center for Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)<\/strong> for <strong>Bachelor\u2019s programs in Construction Management and Water Resource Engineering (2007-2013)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Over the years, it has produced <strong>highly qualified civil engineers<\/strong>, maintaining a strong <strong>legacy of excellence<\/strong> while adapting
